Reverse Bay Park to the Left

There are two options for the bay parking; the first is pulling up parallel to the parking bays and the second is facing away from them at about the 11 O’clock position. I will teach the first. Pull up beside the bays and find the reference point. Once you have that secure the car and P-O-M. As soon as you start to move (at a snail’s pace) steer full lock to the left while looking all around. As the car reverses in to the parking bay, you can check your right mirror and look up and down the bays to see when you are straight with the parking bay lines. Once you are at your stopping reference point, stop and secure the car. You can glance in your mirrors when reversing but don’t stare in them as you can’t see all around you, so keep looking all around.
